I am a Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) advisor at one of the Big 4 professional services firms based in Dubai. This blog is intended to give the concept of “thought pieces” a new twist and to look at M&A from different vantage points. Like the shopping cart, the wheel and tea cups, the M&A process did not really change since businesses first started exchanging hands.

I am fortunate enough to interact with businesses and organizations in different industries on a daily basis. It is remarkable how different companies can be, like fingerprints, each organization is unique in its own ways. However, organisations with different genetic codes still go through the one-size-fits-all approach.
